Morning Has Broken – 70″ x 44″

Morning has Broken is an acrylic painting with accents of crushed glass, extra large mica chunks, rusted and reactive metals, and bits of mother of pearl chips.  I created this painting to remind the viewer of that sense of discovery and appreciation of the shoreline at low tide.  The painting catches light at different angles and sparkles as you change vantage points.  As in life, your reaction to the painting changes as you consider it from different angles.

The canvas is on a cradled wood frame/hardboard and is ready to hang.  While framing is not necessary, I think framing enhances most paintings.  As always, we can help with framing options.

Morning has Broken was exhibited in the ‘Colors of Community’ competition and received cash awards as a First Runner Up.
