Gone Ashore

Price:

Gone Ashore is a mixed-media acrylic on 16×20 stretched canvas painting nestled in a warm silver floater frame. A much-loved wooden boat is nestled amongst various shoreline rocks of  carnelian, smoky quartz, blue lace agate, and mica. The added gemstones add not only color and textural interest, but they have representative properties. Carnelian is known for being a stone of courage, endurance, energy, leadership, and motivation. The smoky quartz signifies stability and grounding, so much so that the crystal is called the “grounding stone.” Blue lace agate is characterized by water energy, the energy of stillness, quiet strength, and purification. I choose my gemstones for both color and property for the greatest possible effect.

On display at the Columbus International Airport – Gateway Gallery through January 2025 — $850
