This piece is a tribute to my roots. My dad and grandfather raised Black Angus cattle until the mid-80s, and while this isn’t our exact family farm, it carries the same spirit—rolling pasture, a red barn and silo, the steady windmill, and the cattle grazing at day’s end. It’s a reflection of the life I grew up with and the life I still live as a farmer’s daughter and farmer’s wife.
